Grand Junction is seeing an influx of people of all ages. While this area was always known as an inviting place to retire, younger adults and families are discovering that Grand Junction is a great place to call home. 

Our healthy economy is focused on several strong industries. Local medical facilities are growing rapidly and recruiting from all over the nation. The oil and gas boom continues to employ a staggering amount of professionals, and Mesa State College is offering new programs for training in these fields. 

Business looks good. A recent report showed that sales tax collection increased in 2008, while most of the nation experienced a downturn. We are fortunate to be in a stable economy, and experts predict the growth of our area to continue at an astonishing pace.
